ACLMO Stands for (Association Communautaire LaSalle Mont-Organisé)
We are a non-profit organization registered with the State of New York in Albany with the status of 501©3 – tax deductible for all donations and contributions.
Founded in 1998, (ACLMO) began its journey with a desire to advocate for the people of that commune and to promote environmental changes. Though in existence over 15 years, ACLMO was operating in a smaller family setting without the status of 501©3.
It was not until 2 years ago, ACLMO obtained the status of 501©3. Our work has evolved over the past 4 years and now reflects the belief that the environmental challenges and social concerns facing Mont-Organisé cannot be ignored.
We are consisting of a diverse group of extraordinary and distinctive people, working extremely hard to make a difference in the lives of the people of Mont-Organisé. This organization is based on generosity, which is a value we hold in high esteem.
Working together, we are creating partnerships with other organizations that are geared towards the same ambitions; also sharing our experiences to keep the young generation engaged in the development of the community, therefore securing a brighter future for their children.
Working to find a creative and effective approach to enhanced the community’s morale, therefore providing a model for others to emulate.“ Our goal and aspiration has been and always will be to provide help to the people of Mont-Organisé.
We need to have Vision, Respect, Passion, Patience and most of all, love for Ganisé. When any act of charity or of gratitude, for instance, is presented either to our sight or imagination, we are deeply impressed with its beauty and feel a strong desire in ourselves of doing charitable and grateful acts. Those reasons are our thriving force and determination to bring Mont-Organisé to a new plateau. Our organization was founded by 2 original founders – Marguerite Codio (Tante Margot), originated from Mont-Organisé and Père Bonard originated from Port- A-Piment in the Southern part of Haiti.
